There are a few different scenarios the Alpha strategies operate within that are key to getting the most out of the Live demo dashboards.
- Capital preservation: Market risk is high. The strategy is shielding your money in cash to prevent volatility and losses.
- Momentum: Market conditions are healthy. Finding the right opportunities to buy and sell TQQQ to ride the wave of long-term growth.

Stay fully invested with Auto-mode
In the past, users were limited to defining a fixed dollar amount for a strategy to trade. This was limiting, caused inefficiencies, and blocked users from deploying full accounts properly. If your account grew, you had to wait for the strategy to reset manually.
We’re launching Auto-mode setting to automatically invest all available cash in your account with a Wealthrise strategy. Auto-mode now auto-detects broker cash updates and accurately adjusts deploying power with new profit and loss marks based on real-time trade executions. Multi-tranche support ensures your new cash is deployed right away according to the active strategy state, preventing your capital from sitting idle.
Auto-mode scenarios
- Cash deposit: New cash deposits updates the tradable balance for the strategy at the start of the day. If the strategy is already holding a position, it'll treat new available cash as an independent tranche to deploy, and merges them later.
- Cash withdrawal: Cash withdrawals reduce the tradable balance for the strategy at the start of the day.
- Purchase stock: When you purchase a stock, the tradable balance for the strategy is reduced by the amount of the purchase.
- Strategy profit/loss: When the strategy makes a profit or loss, the tradable balance for the strategy is adjusted accordingly in real-time for the next trade.

This aggressive strategy operates natively against 3X leveraged Nasdaq instruments (TQQQ and SQQQ), actively processing more than 40 real-time technical and macro indicators to accurately catch rapid momentum shifts and deep mean-reversion setups.
Due to its ultra-high frequency trading intensity, Real-time Alpha is currently supported exclusively on Alpaca Markets and requires a Margin account maintaining a minimum $25,000 balance to stay safely clear of Pattern Day Trader (PDT) limitations. Transition to self-hosted service
Earlier this summer, the core automation platform we relied on, Capitalise.ai, was acquired by the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken. Unfortunately, this triggered a massive disruption to client support and onboarding operations. The Capitalise team essentially went MIA, leaving us with an unreliable execution environment.
For Wealthrise to scale as a world-class technology firm, we reached a definitive realization: long term, we require 100% reliability, deterministic execution, and flexible performance. This dictated our decision to construct our very own algorithm execution platform in a multi-phase maneuver:
- Phase 1: The Backtest Platform. We built a high-fidelity engine capable of parsing decades of 1-second tick data to vet strategies flawlessly.
- Phase 2: Live Execution Node. Re-wired our algorithms to trade with pure latency precision directly onto Alpaca Markets API.
- Phase 3: Client Onboarding. A secure portal giving users full authorization powers over their Wealthrise connection.

Wealthrise goes live. Capitalise.ai’s trading automation platform has allowed us to deploy the inaugural Wealthrise trading strategy to run cleanly in real-time.
Our technology abstracts away the incredibly tough technical complexity by bridging the gap between establishing a powerful strategy and executing it fluidly onto an existing retail broker—in this pilot case, Interactive Brokers (IBKR).
